'''Air Scandic''' was an airline whose registered office was in Jersey, Channel Islands. It operated charters for various UK tour operators and was principally based at Manchester International Airport Manchester Airport. The airline also operated (mainly on a seasonal basis) from Glasgow International Airport Glasgow, Nottingham East Midlands Airport East Midlands, London Stansted Airport London Stansted and Newcastle Airport Newcastle airports to holiday destinations in Europe. The carrier also operated a small number of charter flights to Orlando Sanford International Airport Orlando in Florida during the peak summer season. In September 2005 however the business went into liquidation and was forced to close.

History
It was a privately owned airline established in 1997 that started operations in May 1998. Originally aircraft were operated on its behalf by Air Cordial, whose Air Operators Certificate was suspended at their request from 12 November 2004. Air Scandic was Lapland Air of Finland trading as Air Scandic. It suspended all flights and entered into liquidation in September 2005, leaving many of its customers stranded across Europe.

Fleet
The Air Scandic fleet consisted of two Boeing 757 Boeing 757-200 aircraft leased from Finnair and three McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (at June 2005).
