'''Andrei Antanasovich Kanchelskis''' (

Russian-
Ukraine Ukrainian football (soccer) football midfielder, who currently plays for FC Krylya Sovetov Samara in
Russian Premier League Russia. He is a dynamic goal scoring winger with great pace.
Kanchelskis started his career with
FC Dynamo Kyiv Dynamo Kyiv in 1988. He went to

Manchester United F.C. Manchester United two years later. Kanchelskis would make his debut for United on

Kanchelskis was sold to
Everton F.C. Everton in 1995 allegedly following the incurrence of substantial gambling debts at Manchester casinos. His first season with the club saw him score 14 goals to cap a season of excellent performances which made him arguably the best winger in the country. He failed to reproduce that form in his second season and was sold mid-way through for £8million to
ACF Fiorentina Fiorentina. Again, he struggled to find his best form and later went on to play for
Rangers F.C. Rangers (1998-2000 and 2001-02),
Manchester City F.C. Manchester City (2001),
Southampton F.C. Southampton (2003),
Al-Hilal (2003),
FC Saturn Ramenskoe FC Saturn (2004-2005), and FC Krylya Sovetov Samara (2006-).
Although Kanchelskis was born in Ukraine and his heritage is
Lithuanian, he chose to represent
Russia national football team Russia. He was capped 23 times for the
USSR national football team Soviet Union national team, scoring three goals, and 36 times for Russia, scoring five goals. After leading a player boycott against head coach
Pavel Sadyrin and therefore missing the {{Wc|1994}}, the only senior major international tournaments Kanchelskis played in were {{Ec|92}} and {{Ec|96}}.
