'''BONES''' is a Japanese animation studio that produces anime titles, including ''RahXephon'', ''Wolf's Rain'', ''Scrapped Princess'' and ''Fullmetal Alchemist''. The stuido has produced several anime-adaptions of famous mangas that, in turn, became successful, as well. Overall, BONES is known for its very detailed and precise style of drawing, particular interest in military affairs and frequent inclusion of Western and, particularily, European culture elements into their works. A good example of this is the use of foreign languages, like English language English in ''Fullmetal Alchemist'' and ''Scrapped Princess'' and Russian language Russian in ''Wolf's Rain'', as written language written ones instead of traditional preferrence for Japanese language Japanese kanji, as well as some uncommon for anime concepts, e.g. snowboarding.
