'''Charles Lynch''' (1783 - February 9 1853) was a United States Democratic Party Democratic politician from the U.S. state of Mississippi. He was elected to the Mississippi State Senate and served in 1827 and 1832-1833. In July 1833, he succeeded Governor Abram L. Scott, who had died in office and remained so until the election of Hiram Runnels in November of that year.
