It is in Travelcard Zone 3. The mainline station was opened in 1838 by the Great Western Railway, London Underground services commenced in 1879. The Tube station is a western terminus of the District Line, and of a branch of the Central Line. On the District Line, the next station is Ealing Common tube station Ealing Common, and on the Central Line is West Acton tube station West Acton. The station is served by local services operated by First Great Western from Paddington station London Paddington to Greenford station Greenford and Reading station Reading and Heathrow Connect services from Paddington to Heathrow Airport. The station is on the original line of the Great Western Railway. It is proposed that Crossrail line 1 will call at Ealing Broadway.
