Esbjerg - Odense - Copenhagen - Malmö - Halmstad - Gothenburg - Skara - Örebro - Eskilstuna - Stockholm ... It runs roughly west-east through the countries of Republic of Ireland Ireland, England, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia and finally Russia. The length is 1880 km.
The road is not continuous and at several points a ferry must be used to continue along its length. If there is no ferry between Kingston upon Hull and Esbjerg for instance, one must find an alternative ferry or road, and in this case Harwich-Esbjerg is available.
