The '''Five-Star Basketball''' camp, founded in 1966, is the nation's leading basketball education institution. It's owners and founders, Howard Garfinkel and Will Klein, have operated camps featuring many of the top coaches and players in American basketball history. The following men all worked as coaches there prior to becoming household names to basketball enthusiasts: Hubie Brown, Chuck Daly, Bobby Knight, Rick Pitino, Lawrence Frank, Dick Vitale, Mike Fratello, Dave Odom, Pete Gillen, Herb Sendek, Paul Hewitt, John Calipari, Billy Donovan, Al Skinner, Sean Miller. Over 325 campers went on to play in the NBA, including: Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, Sebastian Telfair, Stephon Marbury, Vince Carter, Christian Laettner, Walt Williams, Jay Williams (basketball) Jay Williams, Isiah Thomas, Zach Randolph, Brad Miller (basketball player) Brad Miller, John Paxson, Ben Gordon, Grant Hill (basketball player) Grant Hill, Muggsy Bogues. The camps take place throughout the country, offering both overnight and day camp options.
