'''Murone''' (室根村; -mura) was a villages of Japan village located in Higashiiwai District, Iwate Higashiiwai District, Iwate Prefecture Iwate, Japan. On September 20, 2005 the village merged with three towns and another village from the district, and a town from Nishiiwai District, Iwate Nishiiwai District, into the expanded city of Ichinoseki, Iwate Ichinoseki.
As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 6,016 and a population density density of 61.84 persons per square kilometer km². The total area was 97.28 km².
