Viminacium was the base camp of Legio VII Claudia Legio VII ''Claudia'', and hosted for some time the Legio IV Flavia Felix IV ''Flavia Felix''. It was destroyed by Barbarian raiders. Today Kostolac, a small Serbia Serbian town on the Danube river, is located where Viminacium used to be.
